Tom Coyne's Scotland Book
« on: July 08, 2018, 11:31:54 AM »
I've put together a bit on Tom Coyne's new book here: http://www.golfwrx.com/521550/book-review-a-course-called-scotland/?utm_source=Front&utm_medium=Blogroll_Home&utm_campaign=GolfWRX_OnSite&utm_content=unused

I have his first golf book on order, as it is the only one of the four I've yet to read.

Went to Tom’s reading and book signing event yesterday. His dad was my sponsor at Rolling Green so I have known him for years.
I’m happy for his success.

Malone...you will love the caddy/Tom's dad anecdote in the book. Enjoy it.

Tepper...when Macdonald joins GCA, he can post his own damned links.  8)  In all sincerity, thanks for adding that to the thread. Coyne is a unique guy, in that he gets architecture, but pretends to not care about it. He always references guys and gals like us in his works, in a they are over the top way.

just finished  the book and it is a joyous read.  One nit to pick, Sally Gunnell was a hurdler, not a miler. Figured out a number of courses I should have included in my itineraries.
