Yikes: 3 bogies, 5 pars, 7 birdies, 3 Eagles

Can you think of a crazier round than Justin Rose had today?

That was quite incredible. One of the bogeys on a par 5 at that. What could have been!?! I always think it's funny when someone shoots a ridiculously good score and still has "what if"s on their mind. I can't imagine there have been many rounds of 60 with more what ifs than Rose had yesterday.

Curtis Luck just played a round on the Korn Ferry Tour with 2 doubles, 5 pars, 9 birdies, 1 eagle and 1 albatross. Also -10, but par 72, so it was "just" a 62. He had one four hole stretch where he went 2 3 3 2 and par was 3 5 4 5. -7 for 4 holes.

Over 4 holes we had someone score 3 2 3 8 against a par of 3 5 5 3...so level for the 4 holes.

Musta been pretty gutted not to shoot 59 when he just needed to par the last 3, equally I expect being 'on a 59' is a situation like being as nervous as winning your first major. A good friend of mine shot a 59 in a friendly said he was still very nervous over the last few holes.

It was certainly an exciting tournament besides his run at a 58 or 59, too bad he made 5 on 18
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

Am I the only one who believes set up shenanigans were at hand yesterday. While we were entertained the members of the hosting club are left with a ton of unnecessary questions. The types of architectural questions this board once abhorred.

On this one you probably stand alone. While you might be right about the Korn Ferry Tour set up, St George has given up a 60-almost-59 before, ie to 2010 Canadian Open winner Carl Pettersson. It was a little galling to see the Commish celebrating Rory's win, since for years the Tour sucked the prestige and importance right out of the 3rd oldest championship in golf by foisting upon it a terrible spot on the schedule (simply because, it seems, it couldn't compete with the big American corporate sponsors in ponying up enough money to satisfy the previous leadership regimes...until RBC came onboard and was added to the name.)
I spent my youth looking back to the glory days, when Lee Trevino won the US, Canadian and British Opens in the same year.
