While not a particularly good golf course, there's a place in Portland, CT called Quarry Ridge. It has a par 3 (maybe the 15th?) that is about 120 yards and uphill maybe 50 feet. Of course the green is completely blind. What one sees off the tee is a large hill, some of which is a sheer rock face. In other words, one is hitting a golf ball that has at least a small chance of being sent straight back if mishit. I am yet to experience or witness this, but then I don't play there often.
