Save the Date: 2022 Midwest Mashie Sun/Mon Sept 11-12 2022

Golf is still booming. Who knows how long this will continue but if you have an excellently architected golf venue, you are in the winners box. Places are taking bookings into 2023 and even '24 in some instances.
GCA forward golf entities are currently struggling to fulfill tee time requests for members and regulars.
Perfect time to ask them to carve out a prime autumn Saturday and Sunday block for a group of itinerant golf architecture junkies.

- "Dear (Pro,Committee Chair,General Manger) my name is Vaughn, I'm inquiring if roughly 40 of us can grab a couple of contiguous weekend days of primetime for our foursomes to play your fabulously architected golf course?"

- "How many? We can keep it to about 40. We'd hope to avoid split or shotgun tee times as we enjoy experiencing the course as the architect designed and intended it to be played."

-"Hello?"

Luckily we began hunting before the the first Harvester Mashie ball went into the air.
The good news, when we suggested that we would be honored to move to a Sunday/Monday, we received email replies. FYI, we have also been in contact/collaboration with our BUDA Family and alerted them of our Sept 11/12 2022 targets for the Midwest Mashie.
We now have options based on our Sunday Start which helps free up a prime weekend date for Members and Customers. Mark your calendar and stay tuned. We will make best effort to deliver specifics before the New Year as travel looks to be insane.

Best, Vaughn/George/Jason/Criss/Pat
Your Mashie Committee

Thanks for all the heavy lifting Vaughn and the rest of the committee.  I have really missed the opportunity to tee it up with you guys the last few years and plan to return for the 2022 event.

You were missed!
Of Course all of this is predicated on Bill Steele's availability. He beat me down for so many years until I finally got one back last year and I want more.

Ha , bless you Ken and I should have known this might happen. I'll have to disallow this as the is not a sign up. Stay tuned for more info before the New Year if not sooner.
We do however thank you and are heartened in your trust in us to not choose a place that sucked.

Love it!!  Of course I trust the selection committee's recommendations!  It's also about the guys I've missed seeing the last handful of years.

I apologize Vaughn.  I wasn't meaning for my response to be a sign up either.  Just hoping to not have to back out of another Mashie!!

The Greenscape Methods crew of myself, Ryan, Connor and others will be making our way to Chicago on those dates and this would seem to be a perfect rest stop.  I'll be watching for more info. Thanks Vaughn.

Hoping to finally get off the east coast this year for this. Vaughn, would love to have the time to get to know you more as our time at Bedford was too short and in the middle of COVID-crazy. I have no doubt in the selection worthiness.
