R&A statement on Turnberry and the Open
« on: January 12, 2021, 06:07:47 AM »
It has been reported that the R&A have made a statement on Turnberry;

"We will not return until we are convinced that the focus will be on the championship, the players and the course itself, and we do not believe that is achievable in the current circumstances". - Martin Slumbers.

Apparently, the US PGA have also cancelled the agreement to play the US PGA at Bedminster in 2022. "Interesting" times.

As they should.  Trump is toxic and everything he touches wilts and dies.  Golf should stay as far away from that psycho as possible.
