The Rio Hondo League has a major champion! Marikawa's high school alma mater was the only school that played home matches at a private club, which was a big deal what was mostly a blueish collar league (plus San Marino, which played at Santa Anita along with half the league), even though the course is, well, not good. Pretty great finish, and always cool to see someone win a major with a signature shot.
