Forest Dunes Resort in some good company...
« on: May 11, 2019, 09:00:26 PM »
 8)   just got an email from Forest Dunes...  seems they're in some good company now... its expensive, but nice being 45 minutes away in the summer!

per Golf Digest...

Forest Dunes was ranked No. 28 nationally while The Loop Black debuted at No. 45 and The Loop Red No. 47.

This is the first time the publication ranked the separate routings of The Loop as two separate courses.
The rankings put Forest Dunes in some elite company as there are only four other resorts to have three or more courses in the top 50.

You've probably heard a lot about the others — Pebble Beach, Bandon Dunes, Whistling Straits and Streamsong.

Jeez if you look at it as two courses, they cost less than $2 million apiece.

Maybe I should ask Lew to pay me another design fee?
