Tiger a playing captain at the President's Cup?
« on: April 15, 2019, 03:22:35 PM »
Hasn't been done in a while and probably for good reason, but it seems like they have 10 vice captains now so who would know the difference.

Royal Melbourne I think is a good course for him as the driving widths are very generous off the tee, obviously you need great putters there first and foremost.  He got hot putting and with the widths staying wide (we shall see how wide) I would say he will qualify and then play.

I’ve thought it for months...not sure where he WAS on the points list but that doesn’t matter.

And it will be great for these events...if it serves to minimize the role of the captain.

I will most likely be in Australia then so I'm hoping for an opportunity to see him play. It's kind of comical to me that up to this point, I never have and had to go to the other side of the world for it.
