I don't want to overstate the issue but for me it's like saying which: Sand Hills or Wild Horse? I enjoy both Pennard and RP. I just expect different things. Pennard is a wild ride over some gnarly land. It has unexpected twists and turns. RP is manicured and designed for tournament play. The bunkering is exceptional and the turf superior. If I were to bring my friend from Baltusrol, I'd take him to Pennard so he could see something he has never seen. If I were to bring a friend who belongs and plays munis I'd bring him to RP so he could see something he seldom sees.
