There are several heroes who made all of this possible and I’m not in that group. The girlfriend who never gave up and the ex-Marine journalist, with commendable efforts of a retired Judge and a prosecutor with heart did the legwork. I helped out after the fact because I could and because I owed it to my nephew who was killed in the same war that disabled this young man. A real humbling experience, to be sure.
