+1 +2 +3 with Juan.

T'ain't nothing minimal about BD,OR. The retail golfer gets a style of architecture, but the keeping of that style and the resort that accompanies it all, t'arn't minimalist.

What is minimal about Bandon?

I played TallGrass once, in 2011. My recollection is that it was very wet, even though it hadn't rained especially much. I don't know enough about the client history to define it in any way, but I recall certain shots that I wanted to play (along the ground) that I couldn't, due to the saturation. Routing was very good, hospitality was finely tuned, would have been the perfect place to play if it was in my neighborhood.

Would I have told someone to drive out of her/his way to play it? I don't think so.
