Meet up in Ballyliffin/County Donegal

I am traveling to Ireland from late May to the later part of June and will be on the Inishowen Peninsula near Ballyliffin and County Donegal area most of the time.  I have been traveling there repeatedly for a number of years and mostly play the two Ballyliffin courses when I am there.  The two Rosapenna courses are about 90 minutes away.  Portsalon GC is also in that area.  Donegal GC is about two hours away and County Sligo GCabout 30 to 40 minutes south of Donegal GC.

I've traveled all over Ireland at one time or another but now do extended holidays in this area.

Northwest Golf Club is right there in Buncrana and great fun-friendly welcome also.
Highly recommended


Also Greencastle is definitely worth an afternoon, especially for those taking the ferry over from NI.


Lately I've found Dunfanaghy to be an outstanding base as it's a great town and brings Narin and Portnoo and Cruit into easy reach, along with the ones you've named

+1 on the town as a base etc and the other courses mentioned. And play Dunfanaghy GC as well.

I was blown away by Ballyliffin Old on my visit there 2 years ago.  Amazing grade level greens and some wonderful holes.
