Royal Oaks renovated all of their greens and converted them from bent to miniverde.  They also renovated all of the bunkers.

Menlo has had some water problems, the first 50-100 yards of each hole are virtual wastelands. That being said, it is one of the best courses in the Bay Area just slightly behind SFCC, Olympic Lake, Cal Club and Pasatiempo.
Its a "must play" course for lovers of Old School design!
