How much wider do you need those fairways? 60-80 yards isn't enough?:)
BTW - No one slices anymore. Everything right is a massive, from the inside, block. Slices have to start left and who does that with a modern driver?

Nice!

I have played #2 at least 100 times and have seen only one ball lost. That was in a large patch of wiregrass on the right side of the fairway on #5. That patch has been gone for years. It is nearly impossible to even lose one in water, since the only water which in front of the 16th tee is an easy carry.

On the other hand, I played Sand Hills with my younger son when he was still in college. He lost lots of balls before I discovered he was replacing them with balls out of my bag.

Old Mac.

Popped in here to say this. You can literally hit it ANYWHERE. Except long-left on #7.

I wouldn't lose a ball with a good shot, but I have lost balls at RM

RMW3, short left.
RMW6, short on right, and blocked right.
RMW15 in the cross-over area
RME 2, on the rhs

The only shots badly off line was the block on right of 6W.

The shots short on 6W and in the cross-over on 15W were poor choices.

ps I agree, RM fairways are wide, and the rough is fair (and appropriate).  However, you can lose a ball in there, and not always with a very poor shot.
