Final images from Britain from Above Archive
« on: November 12, 2014, 10:02:45 AM »
These have been announced:

Britain from Above <Britain.From.Above@dotmailer-email.com>

Has anybody spare time to look through for golf course images contained on it? I won't have until the new year.

These are fascinating.

Many many examples especially around London but quite a few links courses.

This is Wentworth, Ryder cup 1953, 12 and 13th hole before the course was ruined.

Worplesdon with very few trees, Royal Liverpool 1920s, Selsdon Park with thousands of bunkers, a little bit of Seascale, Fulford without trees .... keep looking!

Jon, yes, pre A64, and pre York University, but only a little bit of the course. If anyone has time to go through the 7,000+ images grouped together as new and log the references they'll be saving me a great deal of time early next year....

There are some great old Aerials of Addington New before destruction.  Somebody want to try a map out a routing guess?
