A Room with a View
« on: December 07, 2012, 07:42:15 PM »

For those of you contemplating retirement in Pebble Beach here is the spot for you.  Those that have played the Shore Course at MPCC might  recognise the par three seventh hole and the small green house a few yards away. Real Estate jargon would indicate that this is a tear down to build your own "Hole in One " home site.

Always a bit suspicious when there is only one picture of the interior.

But anyone who can afford the place can probably afford some reno work.

There will be no reno here, I would bet a good deal of money that it will be razed to the ground.

Bob, that looks like my dream location! Too bad I have many years before retirement. I was trying to convince my wife that we should buy a dental practice in the Monterey area, but it wasn't in the cards. Too bad, because it is a slice of heaven over there.

Bob,

Is there a size limitation(square footage) on building a new house on the lot after a tear down?

Bob-  even if you could buy the place wouldn't you have to wait at least 5 years to get into MPCC, and at what price?

BTW...    my wife and I were fortunate enough to be friends with the guy who wrote the song "Room with a View,"

Bob

I suppose that would be at the top end of the reno work scale?

Bob, does zoning permit a mobile home (wheels off and appropriate corrugated aluminum skirt of course)?
