We should do this.

I think we should all chip in and buy this place. It would make a great venue for all GCA events![img]

Firm greens, firmer fairways.

Is that $75 million Canadian?  Need to know.  If so, it is only $72.5 million US.  Easy to swing that.

After I contribute what I can afford, we'll only need $72,499,900.

Daryl,  it's in Canadian dollars. Great time to buy. The greenback is strong against the loonie at the moment. You can have the master bedroom if we pull this off.

Is the Nicklaus Signature course on the island walking only?

I ain't chipping in for anything less than a Doak.
Ask not what GolfClubAtlas can do for you; ask what you can do for GolfClubAtlas.

I would guess that pretty much any of the courses I've built could be bought for less than $75 million ... except Sebonack of course.

But Tom, would any of your courses come with an entire island?

Did Nicklaus ACTUALLY route the golf course, himself, in person?  Does anyone know if he visited the closest C&C or Doak course while designing this one?
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

I'll check it out when we're in Victoria next week.  Maybe we can bribe the Vancouver-Victoria ferry captain to do a drive by.

The island is big enough to build another golf course on even with the 20% protected area.... Tom???  ;D

Not sure where James Island is exactly, but I'm pretty sure that the Southern Gulf Islands east of Vancouver Island have the warmest average temperature in Canada, and may even be considered to have a Mediterranean climate.  I spent a couple of days on one of those islands (Salt Spring Island) a few years ago and it was pretty amazing.

The 75 million isn't the big problem.... imagine what that place sucks up in annual maintenance costs.

Tasmania is an island with a great golf course.  5-10 years ago you could have probably bought Tasmania for $75mil.
