I apologize in advance as I suspect this topic has likely been covered (many times) previously, however, how would you prioritize the below list if you only had time to play two of these courses?  As a frame of reference, I am partial to fun courses rather than particularly difficult ones. I did not mention the "usual suspects" as I am already attempting to make arrangements to see them. 

Commonwealth
Peninsula - North
Woodlands
Yarra Yarra
Huntingdale
Barwon Heads

Peninsula & Woodlands

Woodlands certainly flies under the radar, and is chalk-full of short-par fours, wonderful bunkering and those excellent short-to-mid-length par-threes that are found throughout the Sandbelt. Peninsula is another gem over very nice golfing ground, and a lot of fun to play. You will not be disappointed by either course.

My draft itinerary has Commonwealth, and a toss up between Woodlands and Peninsula - North.

Thank you. If I have read anything that resembles criticism of Woodlands, it has been a few mentions of tightness.

If you played early and quickly you could be done with both Commonwealth and Woodlands by lunchtime. They are only 15 minutes drive apart. It's worth seeing Peninsula North for goof fun golf.
Some of the Woodlands members complain that it isn't tight enough anymore since they removed the claustrophobic tea-tree.

Hi Matt,

I have been to Peninsula but only played the South course, which I could thoroughly recommend.  You could have a super 36 holes if you played both courses on the same day.  The club facilities are excellent and they look after visitors.

Peninsula is fantastic. The North is on ideal land, with great bunkering and a lot of fun short fours and fives.

Are you coming to Sydney?
