I will echo what Jamey said and also say thanks to Tommy for a great day of golf and fun.  I enjoyed the course and company very much.  Great round Daryl!

JC-thanks for your prompt payment, perhaps we should set up direct deposit.

Mark,

Glad you guys had fun. My back's been feeling better and I had thought about asking Tommy if I could join you all until a wicked case of strep throat made that an impossibility. You and JC now have a leg up on me in the Arnold Palmer Winter Tour Series. I need to head over to Bay Hill in a couple more weeks.

I just got back from a great day with Tommy, Turboe, Mark, and Jason at Musgrove Mill and want to thank Tommy for his generous hospitality.  Tommy's love for the club and the course shines through constantly, it was a privilege to play it with him.

It was also fun to watch Turboe knock the stick down with almost every approach.....   a great round.

Thanks again for a great day, guys!

Jamey

You are too kind and exaggerating just a bit my friend.  Wish I could have made a few more putts, but it was hard to bring yourself to be too aggressive with your long putts.

But you are right that it was a fantastic  day.  Lets hope this isn't really the end for this great place.  Sounds like there are some things hopefully afoot.  In the meantime I hope to get back there a few more times before December if anyone is around and I happen to be as well.

It was great seeing everyone as well.

Picture to follow once i get it on here.

Daryl and Tommy were tremendous hosts and I am hoping Musgrove stays open as it is very much the type of place I'd like to play a lot of golf at.

Daryl,

If the weather is looking good these next few months, expect an email from me.  Also, you can expect to give me about 8 per side.
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

Finally got some pics to post.  Unfortunately my camera died two weeks ago (guess all the water at Portmarnock from July finally did it in) so all I have is these from my iPhone, so not quite the quality I would have liked to have.  Cant believe no one in our group had a real camera...

view midway on 11th hole.  Probably my favorite view on the course...

Closer view of 11th green. (a little dark)

Finally by the 17th after some advice from Tommy I figured out how to solve the mystery of the greens that day...

Just hit it closer so you don't have to face those fearful 6-10 footers...

I'd like to point out that Daryl had 7 or 8 of those "fearsome"  6-10 footers without making one (other than birdying #1) before stiffing it on 17.  His usual response to his lag was "That wasn't a green light putt...."

Turboe's ball striking was awesome that day.

I believe I recall that.

How long ago would that have been.  Man that has been a while...

2006 I think.   Winning the first six holes gives one a warm feeling.   ;D

If you think that was good, you see him shooting from the baseline.
Although, it is clear from his avatar that he sucks at dunking.

I'm playing in the SCGA 40+ there Monday.  It's one of the best courses in a state jammed with great courses.  I hope it will stay open.
