Can't wait to putt some Mach 1 in February
No doubt will provide much work for renovation(nobody calls themseleves this?) specialists to make those greens fair again

I saw the same article and asked our Director of Golf and Superintendent of one of our 3 courses that is being renovated now as we speak about Mach1.  No response yet but I doubt it would be cost effective here in the desert since no local sod farmers may not grow it yet.

I am advising clubs to hold out a few more years and wait until Warp 9 is available.   ;D

That is even worse than I imagined.  They said it's elite.  It's the Eli Manning of turfgrasses.   :D

Also the quote that it develops "an almost artificial, pad-like surface" is kind of creepy.

Let’s not forget, when the UDs came out 20 years ago, they needed less fertility, less water, no chemicals....yeah, well. That’s come full circle.

And also, I agree with TD. While is fun to be the “new kid on the block” with a new turf type, there are some serious headaches and unknowns when dealing with a new turf type. We have had Latitude 36 for 4 years and still have too many moments where we are scratching our heads.

So it was selected three times. Out of how many selections?

The fact that the only testimonial is by the developer is a unique sales effort.

If they're adopting the mentality of TaylorMade selling metalwoods, I imagine the next release will be Mach 2... or 3.
Next!

No a slightly older, more dangerous group.
8 year olds dont measure their johnsons with turf speed.
