Brad

Now take a breath, life is too serious to get this excited. As for links are they links, well I will leave you and Adam to resolve what is or is not a links.

I was just trying to find the Links Virgins on this site. Clearly you qualify as an old Tart (excuse my English) due to your experience. ;) :o ::) :-*

I highly suspect that George Pazin is a links virgin.

I think the following quote is spot on for you “Your quality will be known among your enemies, before ever you meet them”

It comes from the film Kingdom of Fife, sorry Heaven.

OK, I'll bite:  Very few in comparison to overall rounds.  In 30 seconds of thought, I count 17.  And for the record, MHM, I walked all and didn't use a yardage device.  I admit I bought a yardage book (stroke saver) at Aberdeen but found it relatively useless in the wind (except as a souvenir from a great track).  Personally, I'd say that playing a links should be on every golfer's bucket list.  However that is a fairly expensive prospect for a lot golfers on this planet who love the game that they know and can afford.
