I'm assuming you're looking for practical advice (rather than the existential advice MM offers)? If so--and I'm not an expert so others may chime in with more definitive counsel--I think the first basic idea is that you have to save an image from Google Earth (most straightforwardly as a jpeg) and then link to that image (rather than to google earth).

For instance, for the image below I (1) arranged the image the way I wanted in GoogleEarth and then did File/Save/Save image and saved as a jpeg on my hard disk and then (2) uploaded that image into picasa (other image web-based image repositories would work as well (3) right-clicked on that image inside picasa and did a 'Save Image Location' (which is the same as highlighting the location and then copying) and then finally (4) typed this reply, clicked the image icon and then positioned the cursor between the two bracketed commands and did a paste (Ctrl-V).  It's quite possible that there is an easier way but at least this way works.

Mike,

Wrap your link with this at the beginning:

and this at the end:

That should do the trick.

p.s. You going to the game tomorrow? GO VOLS!!

Having stored the image at Photo Bucket,  the site will give several options for the link.   You just cut and paste from the Photo Bucket web site selection,  I use the  img  that Eric mentioned.  I image the the other host sites do the same (provide a link you can copy and paste) as PhotoBucket.

Forget Michael,  is Tobias Harris going to the game   ?!

Thanks guys.  I should have known that from posting photographs.

Eric, I can be in the stadium in five minutes from my office so I might go scalp a ticket.  Do NOT bet on the Vols.
