Is this menslockerroomatlas.com or a free access board for the discussion of golf course architecture related matters?

I suppose a) there could have been some insightful commentary on the matter of the LPGA ruling, even if off topic, and/or b) there was some morbid curiosity on my part, like rubbernecking an accident scene, or an argument ostensibly about Merion, but more about personal attack.  For some reason, off topic doesn't bother me nearly as much as long as it is marked OT  and/or is an interesting thread.

So Mike,

To get this on to a proper topic of golf architectural discussion, what specific "features" do you think an architect must build into a new course with the "transgendered" golfer in mind?  ;D

Philip:

To answer that question the best architecture to study is Devereux Emmet's. To the trained and sophisicated architectural eye there is little question that strategically Devie Emmet produced the most sexually deceptive architecture ever done. I don't know who the LPGA had in mind when they removed their "born female" requirement but whomever it was I would wager she (he) was nurtured on and learned the game on Devie Emmet architecture.

Philip,
The feature is already built into most courses, it's called the middle tee.
