Forrest looks pretty nifty in that red plaid blazer in the background!

Do you get a bowl of soup with that jacket?

I was browsing on the net on news from Dundee where I went to university and found this!

Congratulations to Brian and Niblick Golf Design!

It would be nice if Brian gave us a bit more details or hints regarding the design of the golf course!

Cheers

Ben,
That was an interesting article. I lived a few miles from Wellbank, on the Dundee side. In the mid-1980s a Nicklaus course was constructed at Letham but, from a distance and according to local lore, it didn't seem to be a roaring success (Marty may know better though). The country around this area is heavy-duty, sticky soil (great for growing potatoes!) so firm and fast conditions may be at a premium.  There just seems to be so much good golf around the mouth of the Tay and north to Monifieth and beyond that you wonder how a "resort" like this will fare. I must check the site out when I return for a visit in June 2011.

Cheers Col

Colin,
this will bring to a total of three the number of golf courses you could have chipped to with a 56deg wedge from your old front door. Given the proximity to Carnoustie, Monifieth and all points East, it's a bloody brave/foolish/mad/exciting development for Angus. I wish it well of course, but can't escape the feeling at the mid-point of my lower intestine which is somewhere around slightly worried...
cheers,
FBD.

I should think the hotel is also a welcome addition to the area...
