Grindavik GC and Icelandic volcanic activity
« on: November 11, 2023, 01:33:00 PM »
All the best to Grindavik GC in SW Iceland in the face of the current volcanic activity and potential lava flow. The town has apparently already been evacuated. Fingers crossed for them and for GGC. Drove past a few years ago. Wish I’d had my clubs with me and the time for a game.

This is pretty close to Keflavík airport. Wonder if there been any flight disruptions due to the earthquakes and volcano activity?

Hope your trip goes well.
Cracking country to visit irrespective of golf (or current volcanic activity).
Be interested in your thoughts on any courses you see while you’re there.

Bit cold at the moment I should think! You'd be warmer in Spain  :)
