Cute concept, but with the weather forecast (rain, rain and more rain) it is increasingly looking like a big bombers only kind of Open.  We all know who wins those, don't we?  IMHO, it's Tiger, Stenson and Lefty.

i fear that Lefty's mind will not be focused on the task at hand, understandably
199 played, only Augusta National left to play!

It's an annual tradition to remind people to read the question, isn't it?  ;D

In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

I do think that what is unfortunate is that we most likely will never see the Cinderella story again of an amateur in contention on the back nine on Sunday as the courses are set up too tough for them to contend.  Tiger is the prohibitive favorite and I think it would be exciting to see an over 45 guy and an under 25 guy in contention to see how they hold up under the pressure.
