I am getting used to the new GCA. Tried to post this earlier today, but apparently failed.

Shivas Irons will hold its Annual Gathering — open to all — at Bayonet Golf Course on May 30th. The nominal fee includes golf and the program, which this year is a discussion on golf course architecture. Bo Links will lead the talk. Should be fun for any of you in Northern California, and the cause is a good one with proceeds going to charities served by the Shivas Irons Society. Unfortunately, I cannot attend as planned.

As the theme is golf design, it seems logical that many here will enjoy the educational and social event. Here is the link:

I always figured that a Shivas Irons event would be walking only?

The fee for the day includes a cart - very un-Shivas'y

Do most people walk at these events anyways?

I would imagine that many will walk, assuming that the course will welcome walkers.

I have confirmed that walking should be allowed...but the cost is likely the same.
