LA Golf This Sunday (9/28)
« on: September 24, 2008, 09:03:37 AM »
Had to stay over the weekend to help perform a warehouse-wide inventory in my new building out here in Riverside, and its quite possible that I will have all of Sunday available to play golf before my 11:30pm redeye flight later that evening.

If anyone in the area is interested in getting together to play, please contact me.  I'd be interested and available for 18 or possibly even 36 since my flight is so late in the evening.  I'd also be willing to travel a bit in the region, as long as it is a reasonable distance (like Palm Springs East to San Diego South to LA area West/North).

Looking forward to seeing some of "the gang" if it works out!

Bump, so we can remember the good ole days when access requests were the biggest problem on this site.  Come on Evan, email Brad and go play a course that needs a ranking.  Maybe you will get lucky and LA North is short...Has Gil even started working their yet.  Gil Hanse, not Gillette for those out of the loop.

What if I just want to play golf with friends, regardless of where it is?

Give me a f---'in break and let it go, dude...

Somebody had to bump this from the second page.  IM Moriarty or Shackelford and get in on the early Sunday morning Rustic Canyon game.  It is always open and always fun...but you knew that.

You could also email Tommy and play Santa Anita or drive down to Torrey South and put your name in as a single which should get you out in an hour or so.  It is inexcusably missed by 90% of Golfweek guys and a true joy in person.

How about giving Pete Lavelle a ring and playing Balboa Park or even Barona.

If all that failed and I was a Golfweek guy I would give my best shot to Lakeside.  The gumbo at 10:30 in the a.m. with a side of rice is as, I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it, New Orleans good.  Seeing Lakeside before the completion of the impending renovation is vital to anyone serious about the craft.

Glad to help.

All possibilities I suppose...wish I was as "connected" as you seem to be John, or I would not have had to post this thread in the first place.

I appreciate the constructive feedback and will see what I can do.
