Interestingly, to me at least, is that the 11th fairway in that last picture does not extend over to the creek on the left. This has been mentioned as a possible interesting "restoration" / renovation, and I agree but it would result in a less than ideal approach angle...does that mean it would be a penal (as opposed to strategic) change?

Do all those little bunkers to the left of #1 still exist?  I only rember the 2 big ones on the outside of the dogleg.

Actually, Jamie, there is more green to work with from the left side.  Look again at the drawing, and take a look at the shot which would now be from heavy rough.

By cutting the fairway closer to the Cobbs Creek it brings the hazard into play off the tee.
