Anyone play here?

The photos look quite striking, but unfortunately don't show much. They look like they were taken with a wide-angle lens.

Maybe Brian has some better photos and can educate us.

Some of these photos take me back to Connemara Links.

I like the frugal use of bunkering; lets the land speak louder than the golf course.

That looks really hard, but I'm having a hard time getting a sense of scale as to how wide vs. long the holes are.

Is there another hole coming back to the left of #2?  I was wondering why there are the two bunkers in the open area between the rocks ... seems like a tee shot on through there would still leave a bad angle for the next shot.

The yardage map seems to indicate fairly wide fairways. However, I am guessing the use of a wide-angle lens in the pictures makes them look narrow.

Perhaps the routing would be useful.

No, there is no hole to the left of #2.

Those photos look very much like a few that Brian sent me a few years ago. I'll try to dig them up - though I have been through a hard drive crash and a few email crashes since then.

Thanks for posting the photos, Garland.

Thanks so much for posting these photos, Garland.  Brian is a wonderful guy and I see he has architectural talent to match.  Awesome!  And here I thought his talent was limited to kicking my arse in golf.  Well, live and learn.  I'd love to travel to Scandinavia sometime and visit Brian.  I'll have to bring my clubs.

Brian,

How many of the characteristics of a Redan are in #4?
