Michael Powers is right. If you want to find where commercializing just about all aspects of a major golf tournament was both pioneered and perfected don't look to those doing it in America now, look to Europe. You want to talk about shameless commercialization?! We can't touch them on that.

Thomas, I completely agree. This is part of my point. I don't want to see the tour here head down that road, that's all. Just imagine those same signs seen in Europe here on Riviera, Colonial, Pebble, Harbourtown, Westchester (now Ridgewood) and the like. It'll look like pit lane at the Daytona 500!

I saw the ad on the 10th in the picture on Geoff's site a few days ago.


But I didn't see it during yesterday's coverage.


Was it there for practice rounds only or did I totally not see it yesterday?
