Oporto Golf Course, Portugal

Has anyone been to or played this course, which is supposedly the second oldest club in Europe dating to about 1890? It was founded by British involved in the Port wine business. There is very little information on the Internet, but the seaside site seems to indicate it is probably a links.

Anthony,

I personally do not have any pictures of the course but, I have seen some recently taken by Dr. Karl Danneberger of The Ohio State University.  Dr. Danneberger is a professor of turfgrass science at the university and spent some time in Portugal last fall.  Perhaps he can give you the information you are looking for.

Thanks for that information. I've interviewed Danneberger before and will contact him. This is from Google Earth.
