Huck,
I would follow TEP and Phil in their love for just hitting balls.

I would say that I've never felt any letdown returning to my home course after playing something else, no matter how much 'better' the something else might be. I might be momentarily sad when driving out the gate of _______ Golf Club, but it quickly passes.

When I play other courses (especially good ones) I just try to get around in one piece so I'm able to enjoy the course. When I play at home, I tinker with my swing a lot in hope of mastering this easy game.
