INFO ON IRELAND PLEASE
« on: November 05, 2007, 12:17:57 PM »
I tried to use Mapquest for this, but Ireland is not included for directions!

I would like to know how long the drive is from Dublin Airport to Enniscrone and Sligo.

Thanks in advance.

If you go to "http://www.golfadventureguides.com" you will find the best information on Irish and Scottish golf trips anywhere. Times from destination to destination by someone who has actually driven those roads as opposed to some computer telling you.  Where to stay, best eating and drinking places and a meriad of other information that makes the purchase price sem like the steal of the Millenium. A must have for anyone thinking about a trip to either golf mecca. Check it out, it will be the best tiny investment you ever made.

Aidan.

The great thing about going from one place to another in Ireland is that it could take twice as long as you plan !

We were told it was 4 hours from Ballybunion to Enniscrone, BUT we weren't told that on a Friday night it would be more than 7 hours !

sean,

the roads have improved for the first half of your journey... it will all depend if you catch it in rush hour... somehwere between 3 to 4 hours to sligo town plus another half an hour to enniscrone...

A propos JP Morgan's answer when asked what was the price of his yacht, if you have to ask how much time it takes to get from point A to point B in Ireland, you can't afford the time to go there.

Chill out first, and then enjoy!

Sean,
apologies if I'm telling you how to suck eggs, but you can get a flight from Luton to Knock International which is only an hour from both courses
