Matt, Paul,

I have been fortunate enough to play the TPC at Snoqualmie, Sahalee and Desert Canyon and I rank them in the following order:

          1. TPC
          2. Sahalee
          3. Desert Canyon

The TPC course has a greater variety of holes and is much more of a second shot course than Sahalee. Drawbacks are that it is not very walkable and housing along some of the holes. The bunker's at the TPC are very penal in nature.

That being said I still think Sahalee is a very good course, a first shot course, with fairways wider than they appear and its very walkable. You have to be able to work the ball both ways off the tee. The routing maybe Ted's but the greens and bunkers are Rees.

As much as I like Desert Canyon it is more of a resort course, no walking allowed and has power lines running through it that takes away from the experience. However there are some very interesting holes and some very nice greens.  Unless the wind was whipping, I can't see it providing much of a challenge to really good golfers.
