From many past discussions regarding both Bandon & Barnbougle, my understanding of 'some' of the logic behind the Bandon Trails course was: that on the really, really blowy days, that golfers could seek some refuge from the strong winds on a course with some protection from the coastal gales. (have heard similar discussion along these lines in regard to Barnbougle over the years also.)
My question: Do many golfers ACTUALLY take relief from a windy day to play the more protected course, particulary at Bandon, or do most still just play the course they wanted/were scheduled to play, and deal with it?
