What about #10 at Riviera C.C., its a short par 4 and very strategic.  I know you can make a big number, but there are many birdies to be had.  It is a truely "great" hole.

David, if JES II only offers you six a side, look out.  The guy won last year's PA Mid-Am Tournament.  Shot 69-67, which was 6 under, in tournament conditions.

The 2nd at Royal Melbourne West is a fantastic hole and plays particularly easy a majority of the time.

Why is it a fantastic hole if it plays as such?

It isn't constructed upon a particularly unique piece of land.

It doesn't have any particular drama to the drive, and a little, but still not much, to the second shot.
