I enjoy Stan Birdy’s book on the ANGC evolution and now, digging into Amazon, I’ve found this book : Augusta and Aiken in Golf Golden Age by the same Stan Birdy.

What are your advices on this book ? Is it a good buy ?

Thanks.

I highly recommend it.  Stan is a close friend of a friend of mine.  Stan was a longtime Augusta Sportscaster.  He has another great book:    I think that both of his books provide a unique local perspective.

It's a good book. Not much gca, but it gives a pretty good picture of golf in Augusta and Aiken when they were major resort towns.
