Beau Desert and The Buda
« on: July 24, 2006, 07:36:47 AM »
I am trying to confirm the numbers and names for Beau 10:15 on Oct 6.  I have the following:

C. Disher (dormy house £20 deposit)
E. Tilley
S. Arble
D. McBride (dormy house £20 deposit)
B. McBride (dormy house £20 deposit)
M. Whitaker
A. Mitchell
M. Bourgeois (dormy house)

If your name is on the list please confirm.  All others are more than welcome so long as I can get a time(s).  If I can't get a time I am happy to step aside for a visiting dignitary.

I will be playing Beau tomorrow.  I fully expect to get my ass kicked yet again.  One day I will discover the secret of scoring round this course.

Ciao

Sean,

Still in. Like you, if my playing means any visiting dignataries miss out I will gladly step aside.

Sean, Playing there with a member back in the 60s, he told me the secret to BD.  You had to hit every single tee shot up one side of the fairway, despite appearances otherwise.  Trouble is I can't remember which side....

Ah, it must be an execution problem.  These lot think Hoylake was fast.  They heven't seen anything until they play Beau with hills, trees and far worse rough!
