Favorite - #10 for the challenge of hitting the green, and the bigger fun of Pro Beach Volleyball when you miss!

Least Favorite - #18 because the round is over...At least we can have a drink on the terrace if it's nice out or in the tap room.

Favorite:

#6 (or whatever that shortish par 4 is on the front - might have # wrong - 320 or so, great angles, very cool green).

Least Favorite:

#10 - given all the hoo-hah, I expected so much more.  If no one ever said a word about this hole, it would be among the faves though.  Chalk it up to unrealistic expectations.

I only played there once.  Take with ocean of salt.

Least favorite is #2, just kind of a long slog of a hole.

Favorite, agree with Huck on #6 for playability and would add #18 for history.

Mike, you know agreeing with me is dangerous around here.  But heck, I am proud of myself for getting that hole number right.  Though I butchered it that epic day with you, that's the hole I'd most love to go play again... there was just something about it that intrigued me.  I gather it's gonna be mostly rough this week, which is kind of a drag.  Still it will be interesting to watch the more bold (stupid?) big boys try to drive the green.

And good call re 18.  That hole sure as hell does bring out the goosebumps.

I'm just being a smartass re 10, btw - but I think you knew that.

Huck,

I am taking on the Golfweek guys over the Fazio work on the other thread, so I may need your help.  ;)

Least favorites -- a tie between the lackluster 5th and 12th holes. Winged Foot / West has a number of stellar things but the par-5 equation -- even with the added length at #12 -- still comes up short on that front.

On the positive side -- the 8th is a grand hole -- ditto the underappreciated 15th hole because so much of the attention turns to the finishing troika.

Favorite - 10, or 18.

Least - 9 (Not that it's a bad hole for any specific reason, but I don't score on it well!)

I agree with Bill that #11 is my favorite. The landing area has very interesting terrain and the approach to the green is fun. Any number of the bland par fours on the front are the least. I can't choose.
