Hillbilly Redan

The 12th at Jerry Pate's Limestone Springs plays up to 200 yards (member tees) when the pin is back.  A daunting task for the mid-capper with water front and left of the green.  Anything short and right kicks beautifully down the centerline of the green however, as the hillside is maintained at fairway height:



A solid modern hole with a nod to the past.

interesting picture.......mid handcappers really can be aided by the hill...
question(s): does the 'redan" similarity carry through the entire greenc omplex, or just the front rt run in?
and...background,location of Limestone?

The only thing missing is a wooden outhouse, the Hatfields on one side, the McCoy's on the other and a sheep in the middle of the fairway for God only knows what.......

It sounds like the name of musical supergroup made up of John Daly and certain members of Jake Trout and the Flounders.

If you live nearby there then you're living in some very pretty surroundings/countryside.

Reminds me of pictures I've seen of my parents small hometown in central-southern Italy, in Molise. No golf course there, but maybe Constantino Rocca can build one - with all 18 greens having its own Valley of Sin
