The 'greens' at Cascade were rough shaped and seeded with fescue.............however..........the routing is in the middle of a working cattle ranch, and those beasts eat, move, trod, s..t, and sleep on those surfaces....so you can imagine the damage.
I had the pleasure and privilege to visit Cascade Ranch early this spring on business....Mr. Bruce took me on a tour of that beautiful spot. We hit drivers off the first tee into a fairway wet with runoff.
It is 'dream golf'....the course is of the most primitive variety.
