1,2,3, and 9 at Royal County Down are all pretty fair holes.

One would think that a long, straight, and absolutely flat hole would be boring.  Make it a 650 yard par 5 and you'd think it would be even worse.  This hole is so straight and flat that if it were physically possible, one could potentially roll a bowling ball from the start of the fairway all the way to the green.
