Sully,

Before this one is churned off the page, I thought I'd mention that the high turnover you mention is doubly amazing considering that one thread during that time period elicited 600+ posts, albeit mostly from the same 3 contributors.  ;)

Frankly, given my limited time these days,I'm having a really hard time keeping up..   :-\

Can we thus conclude that GCA is more productive and open when Tom Paul, Tom MacWood and Pat Mucci are otherwise occupied?  ;) :P

All in jest my friends, all in jest.

I know it has been a long time between championships, but none the less  you shared the championship....co-champions.

Did you miss the score last night...104-69

Since you're bringing other sports into this...

How about PSU's five Big Ten championships this past fall? With only one conference loss: football to TSUN.

I kinda like the idea of comparisons based on all sports... you all might be interested in the fall rankings for the Sears Cup.

JES,
Things do move by quickly but there are 14 or 15 topics on page one that were started yesterday or earlier.

Congratualtions on your undefeated bowling, field-hockey, table tennis and cross country teams. You are still co-champions in football.

I would guess that the number of posts would go up in the winter months as some of us are not on the course as winter drags on...... :'(
199 played, only Augusta National left to play!

Don't forget Fencing, on their 13th National Championship in 14 years.

Most amazing is that at the Division III level, Williams has dropped out of the top spot for the first time since 2000.

Notre Dame is actually the only blemish on that record.

Rutgers has a pretty good team too... as does tOSU.

MacWood is correct.

I interject here only to remind us of the ruin that has at times come to the golfclubatlas.com discussion board when people have fudged the facts in favor of their case.

Seems to me that the reason there is so much churn is that there are members of this group that don't have one iota of originality.
If someone starts a thread, A is B.
Then these copy cats start threads
A is C
A is D
A is E
A is F
...
Thank goodness for posters like shivas that start reverse jans threads that can't be copycatted by those sitting in front of a computer with too much time on their hands and not enough motivation to do anything on their own.
