The club is in Milton, MA just south of boston. I have not played it but have seen it as my brother lives across the street. It is a private course.

the course is in canton as the road splits the town of Canton and Milton.

My high school team practiced at Hoosic occasionally, but I don't remember it all that well.  I thought the par 3s and short par 4s were much better than the longer holes, which struck me as dull, and that the greens were far and away the best part of the course.  I don't think I'd rate it higher than 4 on the Doak scale -- but I'd have to go back to be sure; I was far more interested in scoring than architecture then.
