Chandler Egan is listed as the architect.  Worth a play?

All right, I'll go first from the NW contingent...

As always, it depends on what you're expectation level is.  If you're looking for an adequate course, with some peek-a-boo views of the Seattle skyline/waterfront at a fairly reasonable price, then this will fit the bill.  For this price you will get low maintenance and regularly spotty, at best, conditions, nearly unputtable greens, long and fitful rounds, plenty of time to review the surrounding neighborhoods...

You will also get a few interesting holes on some of the land falling off the ridge on which the clubhouse sits--you will not get anything to suggest that you're playing an Egan course.

Gary Player-like commentary coming---"it's the best course of its type within the 3 18-hole course Seattle municipal golf course system"

If you or friends are making the effort to play when in Seattle, any of the municipal courses would be a tough sell...

Peter,

Thanks.  I teach at a banking school in August at U Wash. and have the afternoons free. Looking for something a little different after playing Members Club at Aldarra and TPC -
Snoqualmie Ridge last year.

Bogey,

Peter pretty much summed it up... its cheap, its a muni, couple nice views, some good holes, sparse maintenance and generally packed.

Try Trilogy over in Redmond for a change.

I can echo Peter's comments.  Front nine is decent back nine gets repetitive a bit.  Better off going across the sound to play Gold Mountain, where they are having the US Publinks next year.  About an hour away.

Mr. Hendren,

When you are in town next month, if you are interested in playing Aldarra again let me know and we'll play.

I'll second Sean's recommendation of the Olympic course at Gold Mtn!  Very cool course and just a short ferry ride away.
