Ridgewood New Jersey
« on: April 15, 2005, 11:47:03 AM »
I'm writing the Centenary book for Stockport Golf Club.  One of its professionals, Edward Jarman, played in the 1935 Ryder Cup at Ridgewood.  I'm afraid Jarman's record was not great - he and WJ Cox lost 9 & 8 to Runyan and Smith and he didn't play in the singles.  Does anyone have a contact there who might be able to tell me if they have any photos of Jarman at Ridgewood?

Mark,
Greg Stebbins should be able to help you out. Look up the Ridgewood post I started a few months ago. Possibly, Patrick Mucci can put you in touch with someone.

Thank you all for your efforts and suggestions.  Mike has been in touch with me and is going to look round this weekend.  I notice that the GB and I team also played against Canada at Rosedale.  They lost heavily there, too: 9 1/2 - 5 1/2.
