Alaqua is not too good...  I understand that Player (his organization) has improved since...

The Palm Coast critique is accurate...  Ocean Hammock is wonderful - and the inland holes are underrated.

Player has a 27 hole design that was set to open last year but with the summer heat and drought they kept it closed and will open it this year on the south side of Indianapolis.  I know the developers of this golf course housing development and they have told me that Player has visited "many times" to see his creation.  How many is "many times"?  I know of 3 visits at least but havent talked with them in a few months.

Cougar Point at Kiawah is better than Osprey Point.  The owner of this site loved Osprey Point, so go figure.

Jasna Polana in NJ is just plain silly.

Dolphin head on HHI has nineteen dog-legs and elbows!  Unique!

Different design team.

I agree with redanman that Cougar Point is probably the second best course on Kiawah and suffers more from the routing through the houses than the design itself.  Raspberry Falls is okay but to me I never like the finishing holes, especially 18.
