"Architects of Golf" on e-Bay

Just thought I'de let everybody in the treehouse know that a copy of Whitten & Cornish's "The Architects of Golf" is available on e-Bay, starting bid $39.00 (11hrs to go). I just received the copy I won on e-Bay last week for only $35.00. Anyways, this is a steal compared to the prices found at most used book stores. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the book, it is a tremendous reference tool when studying golf course architecture in addition to the opening sections, which offer a comprehensive history of the art.

Alright so who got it???

Was it one of the gang here?  I put in a low bid last night just to see what happened, and was going to check back this morning when I got outbid (which I expected) and see if I recognized the name.  Then I figured if it was one of us we could just agree to step aside instead of running the price up on each other.

But I didnt get back online intime to do anything.  Plus I didnt recognize the name anyway.

So was it one of the gang here?  I hope so.

I see where an early edition of Doak's "Confidential Guide" is also available on eBay.

There are several copies of The Confidential Guide available for sale on Amazon.com.....starting in the $259 range. Seriously.

Bill,

Once you are on this e-bay parg, click on viewers other sale items and you will find a few more bargains. I've bought at least 6 books from this seller, and everything has always run smoothly. I believe they are directly associated with Clock Tower Press.

Tyler,

I have also bought from this seller in the past and had smooth transactions. Clock Tower must use this seller to clear out inventory which for those looking to acquire new books cheap works out great.
