It's sort of fascinating that one could learn about GCA, backwards. But that's exactly how I feel I've learned, albeit subconsciencely.
If it wasn't for the new nine holes built on Kohler's River Course, I might not have been able to feel the differences. Same is true with the change in configuration at Pinon Hills.
Both courses showed their greatness in original form, but because of their respective alterations, has enlightened me to how great they really were.
Anyone else have that feeling, either pre-, during, or post alteration, of some canvas? Name'em?
